More than 600 motorcyclists joined a record Lowcountry ride to honor 9/11 victims and first responders.
The ride passed through key community routes and celebrated shared remembrance.
The Charleston County Public Library and Safe Kids are offering free car seat checks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wando Mount Pleasant Library on Sept.
21, at Keith Summey North Charleston Library on Sept. 22, and at Baxter-Patrick James Island Library on Sept. 23.
Wannamaker County Park will host the Trick, Treat and Trail fun run and festival on Oct.
31. Trick or treat bags are available 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., the fun run begins at 10:30 a.m., and the festival—with face painting and vendors—runs until 1 p.m.
🏥 Health
The Charleston Fire Department offers free CPR and Stop the Bleed workshops on Sept.
17 at Station 11 (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) and on Sept. 21 and Sept. 30 at the Gaillard Center (morning and evening sessions). Participants learn hands-only CPR and bleeding control techniques until first responders arrive.
